The red Virginia is a supporting player, but its light earth and dark fruit notes are a little noticeable. The burley is a minor addition, slightly nutty and sweet when detectable. The vanilla from the black cavendish is always present. The cherry topping is sweet and at times, tart, and has no artificial or chemical taste. Hardly has any nicotine to speak of. Needs some dry time, and will require a few relights. Burns slightly less than a moderate pace. It can get hot on the tongue if pushed very hard, so it is a sipping blend. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, but no dottle, and you can burn up all the tobacco. Has a pleasant after taste and room note. An all day smoke.
